Shelter Dispatch at Operation Nightwatch

Coordinates late-night referrals and transportation to Bread of Life Mission and contracted church-based shelters. Serves a to-go meal at 8 pm.

Hours

Nightly in-person intake: 7:30-10:30pm.

Application process

Gives clients a bus ticket or transportation to the assigned shelter. Staff refer clients to shelters with space appropriate for each individual. Placements are made until all beds are filled; there is no guarantee of shelter.

Required documents

Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test within the last 72 hours and valid state id required for all shelters.

Eligibility

Single men, ages 18 and older, in need of shelter. Dispatch center is fully accessible to those with wheelchairs and other mobility devices. Shelters referred to have varying levels of accessibility, and staff will make every effort to refer guests to appropriate shelters if possible.
