Eligibility

Those that live within the fire district, an area immediately east of Auburn between the Green and White rivers in unincorporated King County (Auburn, Kent & Enumclaw), the City of Black Diamond, and portion of the Muckleshoot Tribe.

Hours

M-Th, 6am-4pm.

Application process

Burn permits can be obtained for free online for eligible residents of our district online. Burn permits are not available for those within Black Diamond City Limits or any "Urban Growth Development area", as outlined by King County and/ or Puget Sound Clean Air.

Mountain View Fire and Rescue
Provides fire fighting, fire prevention, and emergency medical and rescue services for the areas of unincorporated King County (Auburn, Kent, and Enumclaw), the City of Black Diamond, and a portion of the Muckleshoot Tribe. MVFR provides information on outdoor burning, public records requests, and services related to fire and life safety. Safe Place for Newborns drop-off site (within 72-hours of birth) at Station 92, 96, or 98.
