Return to Work Support offered at DSHS - Division of Vocational Rehabilitation - Wenatchee

Assists individuals with disabilities in getting and keeping a job. Works in partnership with the community and businesses to develop employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Once enrolled, clients are assessed to identify strengths, capabilities, work skills, and interests and what DVR services would be needed. Services may include - Vocational counseling - Benefit planning so clients understand how earnings from employment could impact the benefits they receive from other programs, - Independent living services to help clients manage disability issues that get in the way of work. - Assistive technology evaluations and assessments. - Job training and education - Job search assistance - Support in keeping a job

Eligibility

Have a physical, mental, or sensory disability that results in a substantial barrier to employment. Require vocational rehabilitation services to get or keep a job. Capable of working as a result of receiving DVR services. Prioritizes serving clients with the most significant disabilities.
