Water Bill Emergency Assistance at Seattle Public Utilities
Provides up to $461. 00 towards utility bill or reduction of 50% of unpaid utility bill to qualified low-income residential customers living within the Seattle city limits who face an immediate water service shut-off or whose water has already been shut off. Single family residences only; does not serve customers living in an apartment or a duplex. Emergency water bill assistance available once every 12 months.

Eligibility
Residential customers living in a single family residence within Seattle city limits who have income at or below 80% of the State Median Income. Residents living in duplexes, multi-family apartments and commercial properties are not eligible. Account must be in the primary applicant's name. Households that already qualify for low-income energy assistance programs. Water bill assistance is available once every 12 months; income eligible households with children under age 18 may receive two pledges in a 12-month period.
