Eligibility
- Live in an eligible county or Tribal nation: Chelan, Douglas, Ferry, Okanogan, Spokane, Stevens or Yakima counties and lands of the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation, Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation or Spokane Tribe of Indians
- Primary residence sustained major damage or was destroyed due to the disaster.
- Household income is at or below 80% of HUD Area Median Income (AMI), based on household size.

Submit an Assessment online, call for help completing the assessment, or visit a State Individual Assistance Service Center in-person:

Provides financial assistance to eligible households primary residence was destroyed or seriously damaged and is uninhabitable as a result of wildfires that occurred on Aug. 1, 2026, or later, through Washington State's Individual Assistance (IA) Program. Offers Household Needs Grants to low- to moderate-income residents whose primary residence was severely damaged by the disaster. The Washington State Military Department administers the program and requires completion of an Unmet Needs Assessment to determine eligibility for assistance.
