Inpatient Services offered at Kitsap Recovery Center

The Kitsap Recovery Center, located in Port Orchard, provides both inpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment services.  KRC is state-approved and utilizes the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) treatment criteria. The facility houses 24 inpatient treatment beds and 12 sub-acute detoxification beds. KRC serves primarily low-income and Medicaid-eligible clients. It also accepts clients underinsured through BHASO funding, education and referrals to all county residents.  #### Services include:   - inpatient treatment program (up to 28 days);   - sub-acute detoxification services (up to 5 days)   - Alcohol and Drug Addictions Treatment and Support Services  - case management services   - outpatient chemical dependency treatment   - adult drug court treatment services   - information and referrals.

Application process

An assessment will be done to determine whether inpatient or outpatient would be preferred for treatment. To request detox services please call for screening.

Eligibility

For adults 18 years of age or older.

Fee

Accepts private pay, or WA Apple Health (Medicaid). BHASO SABG Block Grant Funding for under/uninsured, Private pay 422.53 daily rate for detox and inpatient services. Drug testing $25.00.

The mission of Kitsap Recovery Center is to promote healthy lifestyles and communities through superior, responsive, cost-effective chemical dependency treatment services leading to improved quality of life for those involved in or affected by chemical dependency.    Kitsap Recovery Center (KRC), located in East Bremerton, provides both inpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment services.  KRC is state-approved and utilizes the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) treatment criteria.  The facility houses 24 inpatient treatment beds and 12 sub acute detoxification beds. Employees include treatment staff, administrative support staff and two private consultants contracted to provide medical and dietary advice and assistance.  Annually, approximately 2,000 adult men and women receive chemical dependency treatment for drug and/or alcohol addiction. KRC serves primarily low-income and Medicaid-eligible clients, as well as uninsured/underinsured through the BHASO.
