Eligibility

Terminally ill individuals with life expectancy of six months or less and curative treatment has been completed.

Hours

M-F, 9am-5pm. On call 24 hours daily.

Application process

No referral necessary. Eligibility is based on certification of terminal illness by the hospice physician and the individual’s personal physician if they have one. Personal physician or provider is not required to access hospice services.

Fees

Accepts WA Apple Health (Medicaid), Medicare, and insurance reimbursement.

Walla Walla Community Hospice
Walla Walla Community Hospice provides hospice services to residents throughout Walla Walla and Columbia Counties as well as NE Umatilla County. Hospice provides care for individuals facing a life limiting illness with a prognosis of months of life, as well as support for their family and loved ones. Hospice support includes skilled services of an interdisciplinary team, including a physician, nurse, social worker, spiritual support counselor, and personal care aide. In addition, hospice provides bereavement support after the passing of a loved one, and bereavement groups are available to all community members.
