Call Access Pierce to complete a transportation intake. Once application is submitted, client will receive a call from Volunteer Services to provide approval/denial of transportation services. Volunteer Services will mail the client some documents to sign and return. Volunteer Services will inform client how to schedule rides.

Description
Provides volunteers who can assist with door-thru-door transportation for low-income seniors, 55 and older, or adults with disabilities. Transportation is provided by screened and trained volunteer drivers in their personal vehicle. Rides must originate in Pierce County. Rides depend on volunteer availability. Volunteer Services can provide rides for: COVID-19 Vaccines Medical Appointments Grocery Shopping Meal Sites Foodbank (Notate if clients are currently signed up and actively going to a particular food bank) Prescription Pick Up Dialysis – Limited Pet Care Appointments Senior Centers Bank Church YMCA Stores
