Eligibility

Survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence who are Deaf, DeafBlind or hard-of-hearing and use American Sign Language or ProTactile in Washington State.

Hours

1pm to 5pm from Monday through Thursday, 9am to 12pm from Monday through Friday, and 1pm to 4pm on Fridays

The counseling program offers survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault short term crisis counseling, on-going individual and family therapy, group therapy and support groups of various topics, consultations with professionals about working with DDBDDHH (Deaf, DeafBlind, Deaf Disabled, and Hard of Hearing) survivors of violence, and referrals.

We have provided services in the community since 1986. Deaf and DeafBlind survivors of domestic and sexual violence benefit from programs such as – therapy, legal & systemic advocacy, the 24-hour National Deaf Domestic Violence Hotline, Family Support programs, children’s advocacy, emergency shelter, and supportive housing.
