Hours

9am to 7pm from Monday through Thursday, 10am to 5pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 12pm to 4pm on Sundays

Application process

Drop-in. Paratransit can provide a ride if needed.

Operates an emergency day shelter during extreme weather events in the Spokane area. Temperatures need to be above 95 or below 15 degrees or hazardous air quality and activated by city of Spokane.

Providing organization

Spokane City Public Library
Provides books, magazines, music, videos and DVDs for children and adults. Programs such as story time and summer reading are presented to children at no charge. Internet computers are available to library card holders, but children must have their parent's permission to access the net. Free to city of Spokane residents and to residents inside the Spokane City Library District service area. Non-resident cards may be purchased by the month or annually.
