Live Healthy Prescription Discount Card offered by Public Health in Seattle & King County's Access & Outreach

Helps King County residents enroll in the King County Prescription Discount Card Program, which allows participants to save money on prescription medicine not covered by insurance. Residents can show the card at the pharmacy to receive an average of 24% off the retail price of prescription medicine. No annual limits placed on use. Participants can also save money on prescription medicine for their pets if the medication is also used to treat human conditions.

Refers low-income King County residents to health care providers, including providers of obstetrics, pediatrics, dental care (including the ABCD program) and women's health care. Refers eligible men and women to locations of the Washington Breast, Cervical and Colon Health Program. Helps low-income King County residents apply for ORCA-LIFT, the reduced-fare program for King County Metro. Also helps residents apply for health insurance, including WA Apple Health (Medicaid) and qualified health plans through the exchange.
