The Treehouse Store

Children, youth and young adults who have experienced foster care and their caregivers can shop for high quality clothing, shoes, school supplies, toys, books, free tickets to events and other essentials in the Treehouse Store. Eligible youth and caregivers can visit our request page to learn more about our contact-free pick-up and delivery options. Because of the pandemic, in-person shopping at the Treehouse Store is not available until further notice.

Tu, 2-7pm Th, 10am-4pm 1st & 3rd Sa of the month, 10am-2pm.

Eligibility

Children, ages birth through 26, who have an open case file with Division of Children and Family Services (DCFS), children in foster care, relative placement, group home, or living in a family under DCFS supervision.   Child must be referred by a DCFS caseworker, CASA, or attorney representing youth.

Treehouse

Provides the academic and other essential support and enrichment services to kids in foster care, that are needed to help them graduate from high school at the same rate as their peers, with a plan for their future. The Treehouse Store provides clothing, toys, books, school supplies, and other items for children living in out-of-home care. Just-in-Time Funding provides scholarships which allow children in foster care to participate in enrichment activities, such as athletics, music, art and summer camps.
