Eligibility

Women transitioning from homelessness who have moved into a permanent home OR transitional facility. Eligible participants MUST be moving into home within 90 days of submitted referral.

Description

Dignity for Divas (DfD) operates core programs designed to promote stability and self-sufficiency, supporting long-term housing success using a three-tiered self-care model. Tier 1 – Diva Duty: - Monthly distribution of Diva Survival Kits containing 10-15 personal care and hygiene items for unsheltered individuals (primarily women). - Includes Diva Outreach Survival Guide with local resources, shelter maps, and DfD contact information. Tier 2 – Welcome Home Program: - Welcome Home Kits provided to women recently transitioned into housing, including: - Cleaning supplies - Toilet paper and paper towels - Kitchen utensils - Small kitchen appliances - Bedding items - Full-size personal care products - Toys and books for children (when available) - Access to healing, supportive program materials - Monthly health & wellness and skill-building workshops for one full year, including a Mommy & Me Workshop Series - Referrals to partner agencies for furniture assistance - Access to weekly food shopping pantry appointments (by appointment only) Tier 3 – Diva Dream: - Diva Dream Kits awarded to women who maintain permanent housing for six months as a milestone of success and continued connection.
