Keep the Key Program offered by Dignity for Divas

Eligibility
Women transitioning from homelessness who have moved into a permanent home OR transitional facility. Eligible participants MUST be moving into home within 90 days of submitted referral.

Focus Population

  • Female
Dignity for Divas (DfD) operates core programs designed to promote stability and self-sufficiency, supporting long-term housing success using a three-tiered self-care model. Tier 1 – Diva Duty:
  • Monthly distribution of Diva Survival Kits containing 10-15 personal care and hygiene items for unsheltered individuals (primarily women).
  • Includes Diva Outreach Survival Guide with local resources, shelter maps, and DfD contact information.
Tier 2 – Welcome Home Program:
  • Welcome Home Kits provided to women recently transitioned into housing, including:
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Toilet paper and paper towels
  • Kitchen utensils
  • Small kitchen appliances
  • Bedding items
  • Full-size personal care products
  • Toys and books for children (when available)
  • Access to healing, supportive program materials
  • Monthly health & wellness and skill-building workshops for one full year, including a Mommy & Me Workshop Series
  • Referrals to partner agencies for furniture assistance
  • Access to weekly food shopping pantry appointments (by appointment only)
Tier 3 – Diva Dream:
  • Diva Dream Kits awarded to women who maintain permanent housing for six months as a milestone of success and continued connection.
