PSE Help program • Must be a Puget Sound Energy (PSE) customer • Must have a PSE account for the current residence • Must have name on PSE account • Must have a valid picture ID • Income must be at or below 80% of the area median income LIHEAP program • Must be a U.S. citizen or qualified alien (Please Note: Children under the age of 1 are exempt from citizenship verification. Households with both U.S. citizens and non-citizens may still apply for the LIHEAP program.) • Income must be at or below 150% of the federal poverty level CNG WEAF program • Must be a Cascade Natural Gas (CNG) customer • Must have a CNG account for the current residence • Must have name on CNG account • Income must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty level

Description

Heating & Utility Assistance Available Low-income homeowners and renters may qualify for help with heating and utility bills from fall through early spring. The amount of assistance is based on several factors—not on the amount owed—and you do not need to have a past-due balance to be eligible. Awards are granted once per season and do not need to be repaid. Appointment Scheduling Appointments begin in October and continue until all slots are filled through December. Once a month’s appointments are full, scheduling will pause until the month prior to the next two-month period: January–February appointments open in December March–April appointments open in February
