Vocational Training offered at Sno-Isle Tech Skills Center

Eligibility

Juniors and Seniors in Snohomish and Island counties (Member district students have priority). Anyone age 16 to 20 who has not received a high school diploma. Anyone age 16 to 20 who has earned his/her GED. Students who know what type of technical training they want.

Hours

7am to 3pm on Mondays and Wednesday through Friday and 9am to 3pm on Tuesdays

Fees

There is no cost to students of member districts (Some programs have a lab fee or require specialized clothing).

Offers training programs in a variety of technical fields including: criminal justice; fire fighting; veterinary assisting; computers; construction; cosmetology; nursing; dental assisting; electronics; fashion/merchandising; metal fabrication; welding; mechanics; restaurant operations; diesel mechanics, animation; video game design; medical asssiting; healthcare careers; autobody/collision; and aerospace manufacturing.

Sno-Isle Tech is owned and operated by 15 school districts and is an extension of the main high school campus.  The school offers 1/2-day technical training to H.S. juniors/seniors in a wide range of fields.  Many programs also support student- operated businesses/stores which offer a variety of products/services to the public while providing advanced on-the-job training to students.
