Home Delivered Meals offered at Aging and Adult Care of Central Washington
Delivers nutritious meals to seniors who are homebound by reason of illness, incapacitation disability, or who are otherwise isolated. Services are intended to maintain or improve the health status of these individuals, support their independence, prevent premature institutionalization and allow earlier discharge from hospitals, nursing homes, or other residential care facilities. Each meal served contains at least one-third of the current Recommended Dietary Allowances.

Eligibility
Seniors 60 years of age or older who are homebound. People receiving in-home care services may also be eligible.
Fee
Donations accepted, suggested donation is $4 per meal for those 60 and older. Some in-home care programs provide home delivered meals and cover the cost.

Aging and Adult Care of Central Washington
Under contract with Aging and Long-Term Supports Administration, a division of DSHS. Administers state and federal resources to assist disabled and older persons to remain in their homes as long as possible. AACCW directly provides Information & Assistance (Access Services), Family Caregiver Support, Long-term Care Ombuds and Mental Health Ombuds services. Contracted Services include: In-home Personal Care Services under both Medicaid and non-Medicaid programs; Respite Care; Legal Services for Seniors; Senior Transportation; Senior Nutrition; Personal Emergency Response Systems to name a few.
