Eligibility
All cats/dogs over 5 months old must be licensed in the city of Federal Way,
Licensing requires a current rabies vaccination.
Residents must be age 65 or older or permanently disabled to be eligible for the permanent license.

Call, fill out application online, or visit city hall or police department for an application.
Local pet stores and vet offices also often have application forms.
Fees
Per year:
Unaltered dog/cat: $60.
Altered dog: $25 for 1 year; $45 for 2 years; $65 for 3 years.
Altered cat: $20 for 1 year; $35 for 2 years; $50 for 3 years.
Permanent license: Free if altered to seniors and people with disabilities.
Discounts offered for multi-year options.
