Eligibility

Those that live within the city of Burien. Income must be at or below 50% of the Area Median Income.

Call or visit website. Applications are due by mid-December each year.

The City of Burien’s Utility Tax Relief Program offers rebates on certain utility taxes paid toward the following services: water, sewer, solid waste removal provided by Recology Cleanscapes, electricity provided by Puget Sound Energy, telephone (including cellular), and basic cable television.
