Blaine Veterans Center Enhanced Shelter offered by Compass Housing Alliance

Eligibility
Must be an adult, 18 years of age or older, male-identifying veteran who has served in the U.S. military. Participants must be committed to seeking housing and a source of income. Building is ADA accessible and has a wheelchair ramp.
Hours
KCVP phone hours: M-F, 8:30am-4:30pm. Shelter is 24 hours daily.
Application process
Call the King County Veterans Program's main line for a referral. You must be enrolled in the King County Veterans Program to receive a referral. Most enrollments will have same day referral. To check on the status of your referral, please contact your case manager with KCVP.

Offers 24-hour enhanced shelter to adult male-identifying veterans. 36 shelter beds are separated by 3 short walls, with additional services including the following:
  • Three meals per day
  • Laundry services
  • Showers and hygiene supplies
  • Bus tickets for appointments
  • Limited personal storage
  • Kitchenette
  • Computer and TV
  • Onsite case management
  • Housing navigation support
  • Skill development opportunities
Round-the-clock staff ensure safe and smooth operations. Participants have 24-hour access. Residents will work with their Housing Case Manager to create an action plan, addressing their barriers and working on next steps toward stable housing.
