Eligibility
Veteran residents of Asotin County who have lived in the county for the past 31 days and are at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level. Must have received an honorable discharge or honorable or general under honorable characterization of service with a medical reason for separation for a condition listed as non-existed prior to service.

Focus Population

  • Veterans
Provides timely emergency or crisis relief for eligible veterans and/or eligible family members. May be able to assist with
  • Deposit: (Residence or Utilities) one time only
  • Education: Tuition Assistance, books and equipment
  • Medical / Dental / Optometry: Once per year 12-month period - two times total
  • Rent or Mortgage: Once per year, no more than 2 consecutive times total
  • Transportation reimbursement for travel to VA or other Medical Facilities and local bus tokens.
  • Utilities including power, water, garbage, and propane with proof of shut off
