New Journeys offered at Kitsap Mental Health Services
New Journeys is an early intervention program for people between the ages of 15 and 40 experiencing their first episode of psychosis. Using a shared decision making treatment model, participants work with a recovery team to set goals, identify strengths and build resiliency. Participants have access to wrap-around services for education, employment, therapy and medication management.

Eligibility
Open to Kitsap residents, ages 15-40 who are experiencing their first episode of psychosis and have a diagnosis of schizophrenia or schizoaffective, schizophreniform or other psychotic disorder. To be eligible there must also be no history of developmental delay or autism spectrum disorder and the primary cause of psychotic symptoms are not known to be from the temporary effects of substance intoxication, major depression, bipolar disorder, or other medical conditions.
