Survivor Benefits offered at Washington State Department of Labor & Industries in Vancouver

When a work accident results in death, an immediate payment up to $1,600 is paid to the surviving spouse or dependent children. Funeral expenses of up to $2,000 are paid.   The surviving spouse and dependent children are eligible for pension benefits.   Services are available by mail or phone.

Provides disability awards and pensions for workers injured on the job when the job injury results in a permanent inability to work. Works to resolve complaints regarding mobile housing, factory-built housing and recreational vehicles.
