Anacortes Housing Authority

Provides subsidized housing for low-income, elderly, or handicapped persons.  Housing costs are 30% of income or less.  Applications are taken during office hours. Also provides rental with restricted rents below fair market rate to eligible households.  Time and date application is turned in, determines spot on waiting list. Date also determines applicant's monthly check in date on or before this date, applicant must call, write or come in to inform us if still interested. When applicant is # 1 on waiting list a credit\criminal screening report is done. This report is then reviewed for 3 types of adverse information.
