Eligibility

Vancouver students. Under Washington State law, youth may independently access reproductive health care at any age without parent/guardian consent. Youth age 13 and older may independently receive drug and alcohol services and mental health counseling without parent/guardian consent.

Accepts most private insurance and WA Apple Health (Medicaid). Offers a sliding scale fee. Assists patients and clients with insurance enrollment as applicable.

Description

Helps students do better in school by working to address health concerns, prevent serious illness, and promote healthy lifestyles. Coordinates with child's primary care provider and school to provide comprehensive care. Services include: - Sports Physicals - Well Child Checks - Management of Chronic Conditions - Illness/Injury Visits - Reproductive Health - Immunizations - Referrals to Specialty Care - Mental Health - Substance Use Services Encourages students to involve their parents or guardians in health care decisions whenever possible. When applicable, assists the student in discussing these situations with parents/guardians.
