Senior Day Center offered at El Centro de la Raza

Welcomes seniors over the age of 60 to come for a congregate meal program as well as multiple activities. \A nutritionally balanced meal is served Tuesday through Friday.

Tu-F, 10am-1:30pm. Lunch: 11am-noon.

Application process

Visit in person as early as 10am. Must be signed in by 11am to receive lunch. Call for more information.

No fees. Contributions are encouraged for the lunch program.

Multiservice center offers ESL classes, foreclosure counseling and a legal clinic as well as outreach, advocacy and assistance for veterans. Also operates a congregate meal for older adults, a food pantry, a bilingual child care/preschool program, maternal health and early perinatal care, and a before- and after-school program with homework help and tutoring. Some services focus on serving the Latino community or Beacon Hill residents. Provides case management to high-risk youth to increase school involvement and prevent violence and criminal activity.
