Focus Population

  • General
Provides several programs that help with energy assistance in addition to the seasonal LIHEAP funds. Project Share - Helps with PUD 3 and can assist with households whose income is at or below 185% of the federal poverty level. The program runs from October to September (all year) as funding allows. Households are eligible one time every program year. Canal Comfort - Electric Assistance Helps with PUD 1 and can assist with households whose income is at or below 125% of the federal poverty level. The program runs year round as funding allows. Households are eligible one time every program year. Washington Energy Assistance Fund - WEAF Assists households whose income is at or below 150% of the federal poverty level. This program assists with Cascade Natural Gas bills; the program runs year-round when funding is available. Winter Help - Assists households whose income is at or below 150% of the federal poverty level. This program assists with Cascade Natural Gas bills that are past due or shut off. The program runs year-round when funding is available.
