Eligibility

Households with incomes at or below 50% of area median income. Must pass credit, criminal background, and rental history screening. Must also be able to pay for deposits and other rental fees.

Application process

Register online for availability updates. Must provide verification of all income sources. There is usually a wait list administered through the Thurston County Housing Authority. Homes First does not maintain an independent waitlist; homes are offered on a first come first serve basis to those who qualify.

Fees

Some units are for rent at fixed rates that are below fair market value. These units require that household income be 1.75 times the rent. Other units have sliding scale rates based on HUD standards. All household income must be at least $400.
