When getting to the interview stage:
1. Zoom interviews or conference room in-person interviews are available. There will be two interviewers who could be a panel or two interviewers.
2. After the interview, drug test paperwork is due that same day, you will have two hours to check in.
3. fingerprinting 4-5 business days up to two weeks
4. fingerprinting is in Renton and is scheduled after the drug test
5. Training is 40 class hours and 2 weeks in the yard that includes memorizing the training manual. Sometimes training can be completed in about 2 months.
Fees
No cost to start.
Wages:
Intern - 8 weeks of training, $18 per hour.
Sub Driver - $24. Part time work so 4 to 7.5 hours per day. Yearly salary with no income gaps during downtime or summer.

Provides training and then employment for those who wish to become a school bus drivers (CDL class B).
Offers paid internships, Sub Driver, and sub laborers, and potentially full, union employment.
Drivers work with disabled and low-income individuals that need transportation to and from work.
Also provides school bus transportation, children are 3-5-year-olds that includes young early learning and head start children. Usually, small groups of children at the same time.
Training for 8 weeks, then asked to get a CDL permit.

- It is within an educational district, so you only get paid once a month
- After 6 weeks the 1st check pays off on the 15th of every month
- Fingerprints and drug tests are continuous and random, including checking for marijuana
- up to 60 hours per month.
