Ina's Fund allows the Parks Department to offer scholarships ranging from 25% to 100% of Parks, Arts & Recreation program fees. It provides opportunities for children and adults in the community to take classes, attend camps or participate in activities that they would not otherwise be able to. Every family should have the opportunity to Experience It! regardless of income. Scholarships are made possible with thanks to private donations made by the community, grants and other dedicated funding. The scholarship fund was renamed “Ina's Fund” in 2020 to honor Ina Fennell. Ina was a 37-year employee of the Olympia Parks, Arts & Recreation Department who gave a significant gift to the scholarship fund upon her passing.
