Educational Support offered by Catholic Community Services' Youth Tutoring Program at Yesler Terrace
Provides after-school educational tutoring and enrichment programming for residents of six low- and mixed-income housing communities in Seattle. The program includes reading, academic skill building and homework help in structured one-to-one tutoring sessions. Tutoring centers are staffed by education professionals and volunteers. Tutoring is available onsite for students who need academic assistance and are living in one of the six participating housing communities. Call for more specific site location information.

Eligibility
Youth who have academic need and who live in one of the following six housing communities: - Jackson Park - Yesler Terrace - New Holly - Rainier Vista - High Point - Lake Washington Apartments The program is open to elementary, middle and high school students.
Fee
None. Rainier Vista participants are required to join the Boys and Girls Club, but financial assistance is available through SHA.

The Youth Tutoring Program (YTP) is an after-school educational enrichment program for first through twelfth-grade scholars who live in five low-income and public housing communities in Seattle. Started as a partnership with the Seattle Housing Authority in 1991, the tutoring centers provide youth with a safe, positive, and stimulating environment to explore learning and experience academic and personal success.
