We at Habitat for Humanity in Whatcom County welcome all volunteers, no experience is needed. We do complete a background check on all new volunteers and cannot accept: Anyone with convictions of a violent nature. Anyone with convictions for sexual offense. Habitat for Humanity Whatcom County brings together individuals and groups from all backgrounds to work to ensure that all families in need have a decent, affordable home. Habitat works in partnership with families in need and community volunteers, businesses, churches and other civic organizations to provide permanently afford homes. We repair, build, and sell houses at cost, with no-profit, interest-free mortgages, so that families can live and grow into all that God intends.
