Expands awareness and prevents trauma from sexual assault. Trained therapists meet the needs of survivors and their families by offering guidance in navigating the complex medical, legal, and social service systems. Therapists also facilitate support groups to reduce feelings of isolation, develop new coping skills, and teach self-care practices.
