Enhanced Night Shelter Program at YWCA Seattle King Snohomish's Angeline's Center for Homeless Women

Operates 55 beds (20 in dorm, 6 cubicle and 29 mats) of nightly shelter for women that includes intensive case management services. Lockers available for overnight participants. Program is designed in particular for clients actively working on long-term stability, with the goal of moving into permanent housing. Length of stay depends on each client's progress in the program.

Eligibility

Homeless women, ages 18 and older, who are motivated and capable of moving into permanent housing.  Serves anyone who identifies as female.  Must be willing to actively engage in case management services. Service animals accepted. Shelter is accessible to those with wheelchairs or other mobility devices.

Operates a women's drop-in center that offers hygiene facilities as well as hygiene items. Offers two servings of breakfast and two servings of lunch daily. Offers mental health counseling, usually four days per week, and Health Care for the Homeless nursing services at varying times. Enhanced night shelter program houses women actively working toward stabilizing and seeking housing. Also hosts a nightly year-round women's emergency shelter as well as 40 additional shelter beds for women in the winter.
