EVCS has many programs and services youth can volunteer to earn community service hours, and to become involved in their community.

Offers assistance with essential needs and develops supportive, nurturing relationships to walk the journey with young families in need. PREPARES Baby Supply Bags: provides basic baby supplies, based on the age of the child and can include diapers, wipes, formula, clothing, books, and toys. Family Companions: provide an opportunity for a pregnant or parenting family to be matched with a trained family companion volunteer who gives the family ongoing support and encouragement. Find comfort and guidance with the support of a family companion who has walked the path of parenthood and empathize with its joys and struggles. Play and Learn Groups: facilitates play groups to support early brain development and kindergarten readiness: play group curriculum is based on the latest research in early childhood brain development and family engagement. Play groups give parents and informal caregivers a free, accessible place to meet other families and get support. Sessions are held weekly in community spaces in the child’s own neighborhood and language. Parents as Teachers (PAT): develops curricula, trains early childhood professionals, and certifies parent educators to work with parents to provide them with parenting support and information on their developing child. Vision: All children will learn, grow and develop to realize their full potential.

Provides an evidence-based education program for parenting skills for men, women, and couples, maternity and baby supplies including diapers, clothes, layettes, bottles, and formula. Clients can earn Care Net cash to spend on items (diapers, clothes, car seats, and cribs).

Provides perishable and non-perishable food items, as well as commodities of government surplus food such as cheese and peanut butter. Sometimes offers a limited supply of pet food. The market resembles a grocery store where shoppers may choose from displays stocked with healthy foods and non-grocery essentials. Many items are provided by local growers and grocers. Regularly stocked items include: - Fresh produce - Cultural staples - Meat - Dairy products - Bread - Canned and other nonperishable goods - Formula and baby supplies may also be available.

Operates a food pantry open to all for in-person shopping, with a focus on residents of central and south Seattle. Provides culturally responsive food including a protein, a grain, fresh fruits and vegetables, and some dairy. Vegetarian/vegan, Halal, Kosher and diabetic foods are often available. Baby and Toddler items, and personal hygiene are available on a limited basis.

Provides supplemental and emergency food to individuals and families; special no-cook options are available for those experiencing homelessness. Also provides formula, cereal, baby food and diapers for infants as available.

Provides in-kind aid to families with babies and young children. Provides diapers as well as a wide variety of baby and children's clothing up to size 6. Other items are dependent on donations such as baby furniture, blankets, toys, books, car seats and strollers and maternity clothing. All car seats are inspected by an on-site technician. Participants earn "Care Net Cash" which they can use to shop in the baby boutique, which has items like diapers, formula, clothing and baby furniture including car seat Limited one-time assistance provided for non-participants.

Provides infant formula and jars of baby food, as well as diapers.

Free pregnancy testing, ultrasound (for viability), peer counseling, and parenting services. Also has diapers, baby formula, and clothes. This agency is a  non-profit Christian organization and doesn't provide or refer for aboration. All services are free and confidential. No insurance needed.

While clients are learning they earn credits to spend any way they wish on maternity and baby supplies at the Boutique.

Provides free pregnancy testing, limited ultrasounds, pregnancy options consultations, sexual integrity classes, and material support. Offers new and used baby clothing size newborn to 4T, as well as diapers, wipes, and other items/equipment (as available).

Provides drop-in services for youth ages 12-24 where they can obtain basic necessities; like clothing & shoes, hygiene items, baby items, and access to a washer & dryer; sexual health items, like Plan B, contraceptives, pregnancy tests, etc.; and Narcan & harm reduction supplies. Also provides a wide range of one-time drop-in services, such as filling out paperwork, obtaining a food handlers card, access to a printer, and more.

Provides services to teenagers or women who are pregnant and parent/caregivers of children birth-5 years of age by addressing basic needs. Offers counseling to girls or women facing an unplanned pregnancy, including: pregnancy testing; intake and assessment; volunteer mentors for moms and dads; parent support services; support groups and classes for parents and families; rapid response and referrals for urgent needs like food, formula, diapers and clothing; and adoption support and referrals.

Offers free food access to shoppers through grocery-store style Food Markets where enrolled shoppers may visit twice per month to receive fresh, frozen and shelf-stable foods.

The Bright Course program offers ongoing support for pregnant women and parenting families of infants and toddlers.  Parenting education is provided one on one with a trained parenting advocate. Once enrolled, a client works with her parenting advocate to choose a curriculum best suited to her needs and interests. While clients are learning, clients are Earning "Mommy Money" to spend any way they wish on maternity and baby supplies.  Most curriculums are available in both English and Spanish, and our Spanish Client Services Manager is available to assist with translation when needed.  The program provides clients with incentives to learn life skills as they earn "Mommy Money" to spend in our "Mommy Store" on items they need.
