Intake is usually available in Spanish as well as English; other available languages at intake vary, though clients are able to access shelter regardless of language or ability to speak.
All facilities provide mats and blankets. Many sites are wheelchair accessible and some provide shower facilities.
Clients must leave the shelters early each morning.
Individual shelters may potentially refrain from screening on days that they are full.

Coordinates intake into emergency shelter for families at multiple locations throughout King County. Clients are screened for shelter openings that night. Will not turn families away in severe weather.

Extreme Weather Shelter offered at Salvation Army - Bremerton
Provides a warm place to stay. Accepts adults, couples, families, youth, and pets. Must check in between 7pm and before 8:45pm.
Provides a warm place to stay over the winter months. All persons may arrive at the shelter. All persons entering the shelter will be asked to sign in. There will not be a background check performed. All belongings will be checked in. No one will be looking at what you check, however if you elect to keep something on your person such as a weapon or contraband it would be cause for you to be asked to leave and may be turned over to law enforcement. You may keep things needed for the night like a teddy bear, book, or medications. While in the shelter there will be no use of drugs or alcohol and smoking will only be allowed off property in designated areas before 8:45pm. Guests are expected to follow the basic rules of conduct, no fighting or disturbing others while you are in the shelter and will be asked to leave if you do not follow shelter rules. No food will be served at the shelter, but beverages will be available.

Provides emergency housing, meals, and case management for homeless families with children and pregnant women. Families are housed in their own room. No one has to leave during the day. Drop-ins are not accepted, please call before coming.
Provides emergency housing and meals for families with children or women who are pregnant. Clients are expected to attend case management sessions to set goals, receive housing/job/service information and referral, and to track progress toward goals. An excellent on site program for youth 6-17 provides positive role models, mentoring, and fun for children staying at the shelter. Also offers an on-site preschool. Each family has its own room. The Shelter is open 24 hours, so no one needs to leave the shelter during the daytime. Phones and computers are available for job/service search and setting appointments.

Operates nightly shelter for homeless women, ages 18 and older; includes intensive case management; no maximum length of stay; specifically designed for clients working toward stability and permanent housing.

The Stevens County Emergency Shelter is a 4 unit facility consisting of 12 beds and one fully ADA accessible unit. Provides 80 beds in a dorm area. As well as accommodating eighty men at night, the facility accommodates day sleepers who work night shifts.
