An emergency shelter and transitional housing facility for homeless families. 18 units for 3-5 family members. Case management, laundry, children's play areas, individual storage closets, and private bath.

Transitional housing is available through Miryam’s House, where nine women experiencing homelessness are encouraged down the path to recovery and stability through case management and life-skills education. Life at Miryam’s House includes wrap-around supportive services, one-on-one case management, life-skills education, and continuing support for residents through an Alumnae Program. Women eligible for housing are homeless.

Homeless Resources provides households with a single destination to access services that help them stay in their homes or quickly exit homelessness. Homeless Resources connects households that are experiencing or at risk of homelessness with housing and case management services offered by Catholic Charities and our partner agencies in Spokane County.

Offers a healthy alternative to living on the streets or in shelters. This Center's program is designed for adults who sincerely want to exit homelessness and find permanent housing and employment. This program requires work on an individual's part so that he/she can change their life. In addition to housing, food, and overnight lodging, The Salvation Army supplements those services with the support needed to move on in life.

Francis Place - Provides 42 units of housing with supportive services for formerly homeless adults in downtown Bellingham. Kateri Court - Offers 40 units of studio and one-bedroom apartments in Bellingham for low-income households at or below 50% of the area median income. Mount Baker Apartments - Provides 84 units of affordable housing in downtown Bellingham for low-income households at or below 50% or 60% of the area median income. Washington Grocery Building - Provides 36 units of affordable housing in downtown Bellingham low-income households at or below 50% of the area median income with 8 units set aside for persons with disabilities. Provides a short-term housing intervention program for low-income veterans and their families experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of becoming homeless. Veterans and their families can be assisted with housing through case management, pending eligibility. If eligible, assistance and support may include move-in/rental assistance, eviction prevention, benefits support, employment and education services, legal aid around housing barriers, and other expenses that may support stable housing. Must be willing to work with a caseworker. May require clients to be alcohol- and drug-free. Assistance in any of these programs depends on availability of funds.

Permanent supportive housing for single adults experiencing chronic homelessness. Small cottages are used by the adults. Typically the village houses 30 adults at a time. In addition to the cottages, there is a community building where adults in the village can prepare food, take showers, do laundry, etc.

Provides wraparound services to people living with mental illness. Works with clients or to maintain stability in the community and meet recovery goals. Teams consist of nurse practitioners, nurses, therapists, vocational counselors, peer support staff and SUD counselors who meet frequently with clients to provide treatment and support in the safety and comfort of their homes or in the community. Connects clients to educational opportunities where they can finish their GED or go back to college. Also provides employment support to help them find full- or part-time work. Offers individual therapy, case management, SUD services, medication management, and therapeutic groups.

Program provides low income apartments, rental assistance and more.

Helps youth ages 16-25 gain employable skills and work history by partnering with with businesses willing to help mentor, teach work ethics, workplace conduct, and develop hirable job skills.  Program provides 100 hours of on-the-job experience, case management, and a variety of incentives.  Participants also attend weekly classes and workshops which teach skills including resume writing, interview skills, financial management and customer service.

Provides veterans experiencing homelessness with housing and a variety of other services, including in-depth case management. Partners with various local agencies to provide services.

Partners with various housing organizations in the community that provide prevention service, rapid re-housing, transitional housing and permanent supported housing through HUD/VASH.   VA Puget Sound Community Housing staff also participate in area events to help connect with veterans experiencing homelessness.

Provides tenant-based rental assistance for households that are very low-income, homeless, and have one or more adult household members with a disability. The program is supplemented with a range of supportive services funded through other sources.

Offers temporary housing and case management to families that are working to break the cycle of homelessness. Must attend life skills classes each month, must participate in weekly case management appointments and abide by all drug/alcohol/smoking rules.

Provides permanent support housing for individuals who were previously chronically homeless, have a diagnosed mental illness, and earn less than 30 percent of the Area Median Income (AMI). Also provides case management tenants.

Offers Permanent Housing Single Studio Apartment, fully furnished including welcome basket of kitchen accessories like pots and pans, towels, linens and bathroom accessories. Open to both chronically homeless men and women. Absolutely no sex offenders eligible. Mandatory Case Management Program (meet at least once a month) geared to work towards saving money for moving cost and rent, gain income, help residents reach personal goals. Available facilities accessible to permanent housing members include: washers and dryers, handicap roll-in shower, recreational rooms, nurse station for non invasive health care, counseling programs, computers and transportation is provided to food banks, doctor or dentist appointment, community kitchens, or any business within 150 mile radius that isn't accessible by public transportation.

Offers an emergency re-housing program for families who are homeless. Provides rental deposit assistance and motel vouchers to help get out of homelessness. Also provides resources to help find local housing.
