CAPA/PREPARES (Childbirth and Parenting Assistance) provides an environment for parents to build loving bonds with their kids to prepare them for a healthy future. CAPA/PREPARES offers stabilizing and advocacy services to expecting and parenting individuals and families with children ages 5 and under.

Accepts donations of gently used clothing that is then offered to anyone in the community for free on a monthly basis, on the 3rd Saturday of the month at the Annex (Community Center) next door to the church. All are welcome.

Offers a free resource room that has clothing, toiletries, pet food, blankets, Naloxone kits, and hats and gloves, depending on donations.

Provides diapers, wipes, and formula one time per month.

Provides vouchers to a St. Vincent de Paul thrift store. Provides beds through select neighborhood chapters in King County. Some restrictions and/or limits may apply. Not all areas of King County are served by a chapter not all existing neighborhood chapters provide help with furniture or beds.

Local parishes provide services to families who are pregnant or are caregivers of young children. Offers: - Support groups for women and parents, although availability varies by location. - Resource referral - Materials support (clothing, diapers, wipes, etc., as available)

Offers furniture, appliances, lamps, curtains, towels and bed linens; small kitchen appliances, cookware, bake ware, flatware and dishes. Offers clothing, shoes, coats and other cold weather gear; toiletries, medical equipment, blankets and food.

Helps individuals and families stretch their budgets by providing good quality, clean clothing once a month.

Every 30 days families can receive infant care items such as diapers and wipes for infants through age 4. Also offers a clothing bank with children's clothing.

Operates a Self-select food pantry that provides groceries to individuals and families. Provides diapers, baby wipes, and hygiene products when available. Also has pet food when available.

Provides space for youth to connect with peers, and access support when they need it. Offers daily meals, snacks, hygiene supplies, clothing, and access to a care team, creating a space where basic needs are met and relationships are built.

Offers four days worth of food to qualifying residents of rural South Kitsap county up to once per month.  Food available on an emergency basis by contacting the church.  Proof of address required.  All information is kept confidential.  

Serves hot meals to anyone in need. May also have some clothing or hygiene items to distribute, depending on availability.

Provides clothing, household items, personal care and grooming items (such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, first aid items, etc.), and emergency shelter items like tents, tarps, and sleeping bags.

Provides one week's worth of diapers to needy children throughout the Benton and Franklin communities. Diapers are collected through community diaper drives and partners with local agencies who distribute them to infants in need through established programs and guidelines.

Provides diapers to Pierce County families in need of them. Families receive 30-40 diapers (usually closer to 30), or an individual pack, per child that needs diapers. Service is provided once a month. Providers can also get diapers for their clients. All locations will accept the physical donations of diapers. Provides space for youth to connect with peers, and access support when they need it. Offers daily meals, snacks, hygiene supplies, clothing, and access to a care team, creating a space where basic needs are met and relationships are built.

Provides limited help with basic needs such as transportation, clothing, and hygiene items if the need is emergent and other resources have been exhausted.  

Provides Resource Navigation to support individual's and family's immediate and future areas of need as well as setting goals for a more sustainable future. Offers a variety of resources to help connect, provide, or work one-on-one to access items like basic utility support, limited rental assistance (City of Monroe and City of Snohomish only) transportation resources, employment, legal, and more. Provides school supplies, clothing vouchers, and hair cuts to families who qualify and have not received the same help from another agency.

May be able to provides homeless families and students, including unaccompanied youth, the following services:  *Assistance with school registration, even if the family or student is missing documentation such as birth certificate and immunization records. *Automatic free lunch and breakfast if available, without the need to fill out that particular form. * Assistance with keeping the student in the same school, even after moving, sometimes even if the move is to another school district. * Assistance with transportation to and from school in the form of school buses, gas vouchers, or city bus passes. * Free school supplies if needed. * Free school clothes if needed. * Referrals to other services as needed.  These services continue through the end of the school year in which homelessness ends.

Helps community members with short-term, emergency assistance. Offers utility assistance which helps with gas, electric and water bills as well as Puget Sound Energy bills. Can also help with partial rental payments, clothing and household items and laundry vouchers. Provides transportation assistance by providing bus passes, gas vouchers and helping with car repairs.

Provides food, clothing, and personal care items to those in need.

Provides an evidence-based education program for parenting skills for men, women, and couples, maternity and baby supplies including diapers, clothes, layettes, bottles, and formula. Clients can earn Care Net cash to spend on items (diapers, clothes, car seats, and cribs).

Provides men's, women's and children's clothing and shoes. Includes infant clothing. Linens, blankets, pillows, dishes, small kitchen appliances and small house-hold items sometimes available. Limit typically 30-40 items per family. Rules and regulations around accessing the clothing bank are posted on site. Donations can be brought in during hours of operation. Large items are not accepted.
