Information and Referral - Regional Ridematch System offered at Community Transit - Snohomish County
Assists commuters wishing to carpool by mailing them a list of names of individuals who have been computer identified as having a similar commute.
Assists commuters wishing to carpool. Once a person signs up online or by phone, s/he will be provided a list of the names of individuals who have been computer identified (from a voluntary data base) as having a similar commute. A free regional guide/map showing park and ride lots is also available. The Community Transit Vanpool program serves persons commuting to or from Snohomish County.

Rideshare offered at Pierce Transit - Administrative Offices
Provides a commuter Rideshare program and ride-match service. Hundreds of groups serving the Puget Sound region. Vehicles are assigned to approved groups and are driven by volunteers who share the commute trip.
A Pierce Transit Rideshare is a group of 5-15 people sharing the ride in a 7-,12-, or 15- passenger vehicle traveling for employment.
Serves groups whose trip origin or destination is within Pierce County.
Participants pay a low monthly fare that includes fuel, maintenance, and insurance.
Hundreds of Rideshare groups serve the Puget Sound region.
Pierce Transit owns, manages, maintains, insures, and licenses each vehicle.

Provides vanpools for area commuters. Active vanpools travel in the Puget Sound Region.
Provide Vanpool vans for groups of three or more people who share similar commutes.
Intercity Transit provides the van, gas, tolls, insurance, and maintenance.
Individuals pay a low monthly fare based on their daily round-trip miles. In some cases, employers cover a portion, or all, of the fare for their employees.

Jefferson Transit’s Vanpool service offers an economic alternative on long commutes. A vanpool can have as few as 6 or as many as 15 people in it. The more vanpoolers, the less expensive the ride.
