This means that someone who qualifies for SHUTTLE and their ride originates in Beyond the Borders service area and ends in SHUTTLE service area then they are eligible for door-to-door services on Beyond the Borders vehicles.
With Beyond the Border Boundary Overlap the rider stays on the BTB bus and is taken to their final destination.
Riders who are outside the SHUTTLE area think they do not qualify for SHUTTLE but THEY can be qualified, they just cannot be picked up at their home address.
Boundary Overlap is for people with SHUTTLE eligibility who live in the BTB service area and are traveling no more than 5-7 miles into the SHUTTLE service area.
