Volunteer bankruptcy lawyers meet individually with debtor clients who are considering or have already applied for bankruptcy as well as those who need assistance with other debt issues. Assists Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 litigants. Clinic attorneys can: - Determine whether the client has a legal problem - Suggest possible options - Help answer papers, summons and requests - Provide appropriate referrals Clinic attorneys are specialized in areas of debt and bankruptcy law.
