Specialized treatment process for youth with problematic sexualized behavior. Goal is to reduce the occurrence of problematic sexualized behaviors for individual youth and the community as a whole. Primarily works with youth aged 17 and younger. Serves Medicaid eligible families and accept some private insurance. Does not currently have a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider (CSOTP) on staff, so services provided may not conform to some court requirements such as SSODA or SSOSA treatment.

Coaching, career management, resume building and job search support, explores balancing work and family, and financial management for women who have experienced domestic violence. The Fire Prevention Division provides information and responds to complaints regarding a variety of subjects such as emergency planning, hazardous materials storage, fire and life safety hazards, outdoor burning, and permits.

The Nurse Navigation Program gets you to the right level of care, which may or may not include transportation to a hospital emergency department. 911 calls with non-emergency injuries or illnesses may be transferred to a Nurse Navigator who can assess your symptoms and refer you to the most appropriate medical care. This care could include referral to a local clinic or urgent care.

SFD serves the City of Spokane via 16 fire stations strategically located throughout the city.

The primary goal of the CARES Team is to improve quality of life and reduce unnecessary use of the emergency health care system by addressing a client’s needs based on the social determinants of health. Many times, Fire Department personnel encounter an individual who has significant needs apart from their physical health needs. When they encounter these situations, Fire Department EMS providers make a referral to the CARES Team requesting a follow-up visit.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) comprises the majority of total call activity for the Spokane Fire Department. EMS care ranges from minor injury and calls for welfare assistance to immediate medical intervention of life-threatening situations. All 16 stations are staffed with at least one paramedic 24/7.

The City of Spokane Fire Department provides and installs smoke alarms for free in qualifying homes. Smoke alarms don't last forever. If your smoke alarms are 10 years old or older you need new alarms.
