Offers career preparation at 8 high schools and the Puget Sound Skills Center (PSSC). Some career and technical courses offer college credit while in high school.
Offers career preparation at 8 high schools, 5 middle schools and the Puget Sound Skills Center (PSSC).
Career & Technical Education (CTE) provides students with the academics, technical skills, knowledge and training necessary to succeed in future careers and to become lifelong learners, with an emphasis on real-world, real-life skills.
Students in 9th-12th grade may enroll in courses providing exploration, skill development and preparation for specific occupations in a variety of career fields, including business and marketing, information technology, electronics, culinary arts, graphics, construction, American Sign Language, material science technology and engineering technology.
More specialized and in-depth instruction is offered to 11th and 12th grade students at PSSC, including an exploratory summer program for grades 9-12.
Some career and technical courses offer college credit while in high school.
