EVCS has many programs and services youth can volunteer to earn community service hours, and to become involved in their community.

Provides elementary school students in the Seattle Public Schools grades K-5th grade new clothing, shoes, coats and emergency services providing self-confidence and improving academic performance. Clothing acquired through JC Penney and Target. Amounts per child estimated at $150.00.

- Stable Housing: Provides immediate access to low-barrier shelter, rental assistance, eviction prevention, rental deposit, motel vouchers, etc. to create a sustainable solution and avert cycles of recurring homelessness. - Family Reconciliation: Diverting youth from the homeless system back to family and natural supports whenever possible. - Permanent Connections: Includes engaging youth in family, school, and community connection activities. - Education & Employment Support: Supports education and employment goals by covering education and employment related costs. Expenses associated with enrolling and attending school may include GED tests, school IDs, school supplies, college applications, or placement test fees. Expenses associated with obtaining or maintaining employment may include interview clothing, work uniforms/shoes, licensing or certification costs, state ID, haircuts, or other costs that contribute to employment. - Support for Improved Social & Emotional Well-being: Crisis services, such as referrals and connections to health and behavioral health care services, engaging youth in community and familial activities, and encouraging connections to cultural, community, and trust-worthy adults. - May also provide items necessary to help an emergent need, such as: food, water, clothing, hygiene products, first aid, baby formula, diapers, medical prescriptions, winter gear, tents, sleeping bags, etc. All services are subject to approval per program guidelines.

Provides emergency food to anyone in need. Also offers delivery to those who are homebound. Deliveries are usually completed before noon. Provides bags of food for the weekend for school children. Provides daily sack breakfasts and lunches to school children in Bucoda during summer, winter, and spring school breaks. Also provides some school supplies (during the month of August) to children whose families use the food bank. Also provides a medical equipment bank and a veteran's closet.

Provides essential goods such as clothing and shoes, diapers, wipes, formula, school supplies etc. to children from low-income immigrant, refugee and undocumented families. Supplies may be picked up from a Renton location during a distribution event, delivered to the doorstep in person or shipped to families. This is a thrift store. We sell low cost furniture, clothing, toys and a variety of household items. This store assists primarily those living in the South Kitsap District. We do provide some assistance to people and need. Must call, all assistance is on case by case basis. Can pick up some donated items. Please call ahead if your situation is unusual to make sure we can help. Last thing we want is if you need help and your driving around trying to find assistance that we cannot help with.
