Peninsula Community Health Services (PCHS) is a community based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive health care services to residents of Kitsap County. Offers quality low-cost care for children and adults. Services include physical examinations, immunizations, family planning, nutrition assistance and diagnosis and treatment of common ailments, mental health counseling, pharmacy, and health education and promotion activities. Provides suboxone based opiate replacement therapy for clients with opiate use disorder as clinically appropriate.

Most qualify for free or low-cost birth control through Title X and family planning funding.   Special Services -  Provides compassionate treatment and support during a miscarriage. Treatment options include "wait and see," taking medication and vacuum aspiration.   -  Offers donor insemination, both intracervical and intrauterine, with fresh or frozen sperm. Visits are personalized to meet individual needs.

Provides free screening exams, including breast and pelvic examinations, pap tests and referrals for mammograms for low-income women, ages 40 through 64, who are uninsured or underinsured. Women, ages 35 and older with symptoms may be eligible.

Provides women's health care for the entire spectrum of women’s health issues, from preventative care and screenings to diagnosis and treatment of many gynecological problems. Gynecological services provided include:   -  Well women exams -  Breast exams -  Cervical cancer screening -  HPV vaccination -  Contraception -  STD screening -  Basic infertility evaluation -  Management of menopausal issues and of abnormal periods Office procedures include colposcopy, LEEP, endometrial biopsy and hysteroscopy. Also performs gynecologic surgery   Obstetrics Provides care through pregnancy, during childbirth and up to six weeks following birth. In addition to birth support, services include family planning and education, nutritional counseling and pregnancy testing. Offers pre-conception visits to ensure that clients are aware of actions they can take to optimize their health.

Shoalwater Bay Wellness Center participates with the SPIPA Women's Health Program.  A grant allows qualifying women to opportunity to have annual mammograms, clinical breast exams, and pap smears free of charge.

Take Charge is a family planning program. Services may include: a one year supply of your choice of birth control and/or emergency contraception. Pap smears, pelvic exams, and limited STD/STI screening and treatment may be offered as part of the contraceptive service. Some clinics offer low-cost vasectomies.
