The Family Support division represents the State of Washington, and provides the following legal services: Judicial establishment of paternity and child support including requests from other county and states and Tribes; Enforcement of support orders when parents fail to pay court-ordered child support through the contempt process; Prosecution of interstate cases for paternity and child support orders on the same basis as in-state cases; Modification of existing child support orders; Representation of state interest in private dissolution, parentage, and nonparental custody actions when tax dollars have been expended to support a child; Legal representation of the Division of Child Support, a division of the Department of State Health Services (DSHS), in lawsuits challenging the agency’s collection actions against parents owing a duty of support; The Family Support Division does not represent parents or other individuals in child support cases. For a case to be initiated by the prosecutor's office, it must be referred by the Division of Child Support (DCS).

Maternal Health Services provides community-based programs and services focused on providing preventive health and education for growing families throughout Central Washington. With a staff dedicated to giving families a healthy, hopeful start in life, Maternal Health Services offers programs in genetic counseling, maternity support services, maternal child health home visiting and coordination of regional perinatal improvement programs. Services available: - Central Washington Genetics Program: Offers genetic counseling, specialized genetic testing and diagnostic services. - Maternal Child Health Program: Provides office and home visits by a community health nurse or a licensed counselor. For more information, call 509-575-8160. With guidance from Maternal Health Services, families are able to decide which programs would be most helpful for them. Women at risk of premature delivery may need prenatal education in their homes, while others may want to learn how to enhance their child's early development. For those who need assistance with nutrition, a WIC (women, infants and children) program is located adjacent to the Maternal Health Services office. By giving women the information and support they need to make healthy choices, Maternal Health Services strives to promote healthy babies and strong families. All services are available in English and Spanish.

Provides direct access to clinical lab tests, paternity and DNA, alcohol and other toxicology testing services. Test results should be discussed with a physician or healthcare provider.

Blood services test blood and swab samples to determine the probability of parentage. Can also do single-parent cases (child and alleged father). The paternity testing provided is American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) accredited and can be submitted in court.
