Peninsula Community Health Services (PCHS) is a community based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive health care services to residents of Kitsap County. Offers quality low-cost care for children and adults. Services include physical examinations, immunizations, family planning, nutrition assistance and diagnosis and treatment of common ailments, mental health counseling, pharmacy, and health education and promotion activities. Provides suboxone based opiate replacement therapy for clients with opiate use disorder as clinically appropriate.

Provides pregnancy testing and emergency contraception to those that visit in person during service hours.  Also provides additional birth control methods by appointment.   Some birth control methods require a physical exam.  Also offers fertility awareness education.   If pregnancy test is positive, provides pregnancy options education.

Wellness Care -  Physical exam -  Pregnancy test -  Pregnancy options counseling -  Screening for breast cancer, cervical cancer, and ovarian cancer -  Screening for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) -  Treatment for vaginal infections, bladder infection and sexually transmitted infections   Birth Control -  Provides birth control education. -  Offers all forms of birth control including diaphragms, IUDs, the three month shot, the patch, oral contraceptives, emergency contraception, and vasectomy. -  Helps low-income people apply for WA Apple Health (Medicaid). Most qualify for free or low-cost birth control through Title X and family planning funding.   Special Services -  Provides compassionate treatment and support during a miscarriage. Treatment options include "wait and see," taking medication and vacuum aspiration.   -  Offers donor insemination, both intracervical and intrauterine, with fresh or frozen sperm. Visits are personalized to meet individual needs.

Services are offered at all YNHS clinics, and at selected shelters/homeless provider in Yakima.  Outreach services, medical respite care, transitional, and permanent supportive housing available.  

Provides services to teenagers or women who are pregnant and parent/caregivers of children birth-5 years of age by addressing basic needs. Offers counseling to girls or women facing an unplanned pregnancy, including: pregnancy testing; intake and assessment; volunteer mentors for moms and dads; parent support services; support groups and classes for parents and families; rapid response and referrals for urgent needs like food, formula, diapers and clothing; and adoption support and referrals.

Provides general physical exams, smoking cessation, nutrition info, immunizations, contraception, treatment for minor illnesses, well baby care, and pregnancy testing.

Free pregnancy testing, ultrasound (for viability), peer counseling, and parenting services. Also has diapers, baby formula, and clothes. This agency is a  non-profit Christian organization and doesn't provide or refer for aboration. All services are free and confidential. No insurance needed.

Provides harm reduction services and wrap-around support for people accessing syringe exchange. Offers one-to-one exchange of clean syringe equipment, along with health education, wound care, and naloxone for overdose prevention. Includes Hepatitis C and HIV screening with referral for care, family planning services such as birth control counseling, contraception (Depo-Provera), emergency contraception, and pregnancy testing. Also helps with Medicaid enrollment and provides referrals for primary care, dental care, substance use disorder treatment, medication-assisted treatment, and other community services.

Responsible for environmental health control, septic system, solid waste management, and food safety. Also provides copies of birth and death certificates. Assists with information and referrals to health care, birth control, STD/HIV/AIDS programs, and immunization clinics.

Offers specialized care for women. Services include: - comprehensive women's health care, - gynecology, - obstetrics, and - free pregnancy tests. Maternity Care - Provides routine and high-risk pregnancy care - Includes prenatal care and delivery at a local hospital. Maternity Support Services - MSS/Infant Case Management - ICM Households using Apple Health may also qualify for: - Referrals to community programs and services - Pregnancy and infant care education - Assistance with finding housing, employment, clothing, furniture, transportation - Assistance with finding financial assistance. - for those eligible, support services continue until the baby's first birthday. May also provide information on Safe Sleep and access to cribs to those receiving ICM services.
