Program designed to help pregnant women receive the medical and social services they may need. All pregnant women covered under Medicaid (WA Apple Health) are eligible for services. Offers a team that helps advise and support mothers through their pregnancy. Team includes a: - Registered Nurse - Nutritionist - Behavioral Health Specialist - Community Health Worker - an Infant Case Manager. Services are provided wherever convenient for participants whether that be in home, clinic or in the community. Services may include, but are not limited to: - free pregnancy testing - assistance in obtaining early and regular medical care - assistance in applying for Medicaid Medical Insurance/Apple Health - nursing information and education about pregnancy, labor and delivery - diet and nutrition counseling - information and education about baby care and parenting skills - assistance in accessing dental and vision care - childbirth education classes - care seat safety and car seats - family planning services - assistance in obtaining paternity information - assistance with housing - transportation to all medical and dental appointments - substance abuse counseling - lactation, breastfeeding support and breast pumps - free crib program - perinatal, prenatal and postpartum anxiety/depression support and counseling.

Provides comprehensive family practice services, which include: pediatrics, obstetrics, family medicine, diabetes education, behavioral health, immunizations, minor surgery, radiology, pharmacy, and medical laboratory.

Facilitates one-on-one meetings with a parenting mentor, who can help clients set up a class schedule and meet for individual parenting training sessions and encouragement. Separate mentoring available for mothers and fathers. Classes meet court requirements. Topics include: -  Nurturing relationships. -  Safe places -  Healthy start -  Effective education Clients enrolled and participating in the parenting program may be eligible for additional support. Participants earn "Care Net Cash" which they can use to shop in the baby boutique, which has items like diapers, formula, clothing and baby furniture including car seats and cribs. Limited one-time assistance provided for non-participants.

Services are provided by a member of the agency's interdisciplinary team. The goal is to improve the parent(s) self-sufficiency in gaining access to needed medical, social, educational, and other services. *  Services are offered in: Grandview, Prosser, Spokane, Toppenish, Walla Walla, Wapato, and Yakima.   Maternal Child Health: Enables healthcare providers to address healthcare needs and concerns regarding the child. A professional can assist by visiting the child and mother at home. *  Service is offered in: Yakima County only.   Maternity Case Management: Enables healthcare providers to educate and support women and their family during your pregnancy and after delivery.   Services include: -  Community Health Nurse -  Social Worker -  Community Health Worker -  Registered Dietician Provides personalized home and office visits focusing on the needs and concerns at certain stages of the pregnancy and after delivery.  For example education on Labor and Delivery, counseling services to help cope with the life changing circumstances that come with a new pregnancy, breastfeeding, and nutrition education. *  Services are offered in: Walla Walla, Salem, Portland, and Woodburn, Oregon.

Helps pregnant and newly parenting women prepare for delivery and parenthood with a series of classes. Lessons include topics such as Understanding Pregnancy, Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Infant Hygiene, Infant First-Aid and Getting Your Baby to Sleep. At each weekly appointment, clients will meet one-on-one with a trained peer mentor for one hour. With each lesson that is completed, clients will earn “baby bucks” for supplies such as diapers, wipes, clothing and blankets.

Provides comprehensive and up-to-date birth and family education at the most affordable price for pregnant women and their families. Program offers a full spectrum of classes covering pregnancy through parenting teens and is taught by certified childbirth educators. Learn what to expect during pregnancy and labor, parenting skills for newborn, young child, or teen, and you'll meet other people experiencing some of the same joys and challenges that go along with being a mom or dad. Support groups are also available.  

Provides a birthing center and comprehensive care to expecting parents with the following services, including: prenatal consultation and care, private labor/delivery/recovery rooms, midwifery services, parenting and childbirth education, and maternal fetal medicine program.

Offers educational classes for pregnant people and parents.

Offers prenatal, CPR, birth refresher, wellness and chronic disease management classes.   CPR class is intended for the general public for adult CPR and choking techniques. Participants do receive a Medic II CPR card, good for 2 years. The card is not a certificate. The newsletter 'Med Info' is published quarterly and lists classes and special events.

Maternity Care - Provides routine and high-risk pregnancy care - Includes prenatal care and delivery at a local hospital. Maternity Support Services - MSS/Infant Case Management - ICM Households using Apple Health may also qualify for: - Referrals to community programs and services - Pregnancy and infant care education - Assistance with finding housing, employment, clothing, furniture, transportation - Assistance with finding financial assistance. - for those eligible, support services continue until the baby's first birthday. May also provide information on Safe Sleep and access to cribs to those receiving ICM services.

Operates a birthing center with private labor/delivery/recovery rooms.   Conducts a two-day childbirth class as well as a five-week childbirth series.

The various discussion classes on specific parenting topics are offered for parents of toddlers to teens. Breathing and relaxation techniques to use during labor and birth are also taught. A variety of parenting classes are also available. A seven-week class series, Expecting Your Miracle, covers all the information you need to know to prepare for the birth of your baby and get off to a great start with your new baby. The Savvy Birth Workshop is a 2-hour Evidence Based Birth® Class covers: What evidence based care is and how to get it.; Finding the right provider and birth setting for your goals; Communicating with your care team; Patient rights and informed decision making.
