This department functions as a health clinic, focusing on medical diagnosis and appropriate treatment and/or referral.

The New Parent Support Team (NPST) is a voluntary program for expectant/new Navy parents.  Home visitation is the core service, with a focus on the health needs of infants and toddlers, prenatal and postnatal care, parent education, family/social support, and resources within the community.  Services focus on supporting the parent as well as parent-child interaction and child development.

Provides adult medical care including yearly exams for all adults, and immunizations such as COVID-19, and flu vaccines. Other services provided include behavioral health evaluations, routine health exams, colorectal and prostate cancer detection, newborn/infant screenings, pediatric care, and extensive sports physicals. Additionally, provides care customized to the unique needs of older adults, including Medicare annual wellness visits.

Provides education, support and treatment for breastfeeding, lactation consultations, tongue-tied infants, premature infants, jaundiced infants and more. Also, connects individuals with the First Steps program which assists low income families by provide maternity and infant care services.
