Maternity Support Services - MSS Promotes healthy pregnancies and babies through nurse home visiting. Provides preventative health and education services to women who are enrolled in Medicaid. Nurse Family Partnership - NFP Provides nurse home visiting services for first-time pregnant low-income women. Improves birth outcomes, child health and development, and economic self-sufficiency of families. Referrals must be received by 26th week of pregnancy.

Specially trained Community Health Nurses visit families in their home throughout the pregnancy and continue to visit until the child is 2 years old. The nurses visit weekly and bi-weekly during the pregnancy, infancy and toddler period. The education curriculum includes information during each phase of the development. This relationship based model builds on the parent’s strengths supporting the parent child relationship, healthy parent-child outcomes and goals for the future helping first time parents succeed. This program is free to eligible women.

Serves those who are pregnant or have children under 1 yr old that receive medical insurance through the State of Washington. Provides professional in-home visits by a staff of licensed nurses, counselors, and dietitians for low income or at-risk pregnant women who are facing barriers to having a healthy pregnancy. Works with women during pregnancy and, depending on her needs, into her baby's first year of life. Each client is provided with one-on-one counseling and education, in her home or place of residence, to help her have a healthy pregnancy and take needed steps to prepare and provide for her family. Also assists with resources life skills classes, community events, vital needs (such as diapers, car seats/cribs and food), job training, and many other services and resources to help women succeed. Moms can also continue to attend events and gatherings, even after they are not currently in the program. May also provide information on Safe Sleep and access to cribs to those receiving services.

May also provide information on Safe Sleep and access to cribs. Nurses do in-home visits with health and developmental screenings to identify potential problems with growth, hearing, social-emotional development, oral health, and other issues. Additionally, they may offer support with breastfeeding, parenting skills, and other general parent education. Visits will continue until the child reaches 2 years of age.
