Jefferson County Medical Advocacy and Services Headquarters (JC MASH) facilitates access to primary medical care and prescriptions for low-income, uninsured, underinsured Jefferson County residents by providing free medical needs assessment, guidance, advocacy, and referrals to appropriate care.  Services are offered in Port Townsendand.

Immunizations and disease testing services for seasonal flu and COVID-19 vaccines, immunizations for children, and tuberculosis testing.

Offers tuberculosis (TB) testing, COVID-19 testing and vaccines, and adult and child immunizations including flu vaccines. Also offers information on harm reduction and educational programs.

Offers lab testing, medications and point of service testing such as basic urinalysis, blood glucose, strep throat testing, blood pressure screening, and pregnancy testing. Immunizations for seasonal flu and Tdap (tetanus, whooping cough) are also available.

Provides services to control and prevent contagious diseases including tuberculosis and sexually transmitted diseases.  Provides immunizations for children and adults and information about communicable diseases.

Other services provided include behavioral health evaluations, routine health exams, colorectal and prostate cancer detection, newborn/infant screenings, pediatric care, and extensive sports physicals. Additionally, provides care customized to the unique needs of older adults, including Medicare annual wellness visits.

Handles communicable disease reporting, provides case investigation and follow-up information for treatment for healthcare professionals and the general public.   Provides nursing case management to Chelan and Douglas County residents with active tuberculosis disease. Medication disposal service available for clients with tuberculosis. Public health nurses may offer flu shots at predetermined locations in the fall.
